A “cheap” apartment is 2k in my area
From "Welcome to The New Hampshire Forum!"

No normal person with a normal job can afford housing. Even somebody making $20 an hour wouldn’t even qualify for most apartments in the Monadnock region.
Sincerely a broke realtor.

So true. Housing costs are unreachable goals for most working class people. Apartments are just as costly.

Sustainable Hydroponic systems in your own home for food management, composting, we need people to put their heads together for sustainable eco-apartments to off set overpopulation.

Education starts within your household. Your families, and friends. Teaching your children the importance of less waste, and sustainable living is the only way to fight this generation, prices will only go up the more useless people we have.

More Mechanics, more production, but most of all, less waste and higher education in recycling and manufacturing.

We need more qualified labor, people need to stop partying, get to studying, and opening their own labor buisnesses, they need to fight legislation to create a way for people to get licensed into a trade if they cannot get hired into one, through schooling and a diploma just like a tradesman has to. More tradesman = more citywide projects. Less emphasis on music, more emphasis on sustainable infrastructure, recycling, and healthy living.

If apartments are going to continue at current prices we will continue to see an increase in homelessness.
Unless we develop a plan to address rental costs or to expand Section 8, as well development of a rental assistance plan for families or individuals who are in between qualifying for section 8 and those who can afford rental costs.

100% true. It's brutal. Latest trend: Realtors won't even let you apply unless your monthly income is 3x the monthly rent!

Our economy has raised prices on items with inelastic demand and lowered prices on luxuries with elastic demand. Monopolies and oligopolies (including the 3-4 landlords that run each town in NH) have citizens in an absolute chokehold.
