The taxpayer burden is becoming unbearable. Courts have ruled that New Hampshire state government is mandated to pay their fair share but for years they have not. We are the last state in the nation for funding for public schools. That is a disgrace.

We are not last in funding education. We are last in state funding education. That is a big difference. The purpose is it gives towns direct power on expenditures. What happens if we give that power to the state? Sales and income tax? What happens when those happen and we see little or no relief on property tax?
