Child Support Inequity

From "Welcome to The New Hampshire Forum!"

Go to the project

NH Child Support needs significant reform. Current guidelines only take into consideration equal parenting time if both parent incomes are within 10% of each other, otherwise the full support amount is owed. This results in inequitable support from the obligated parent, who has the same caregiving and financial responsibilities. Nearly every other state has updated their guidelines to reflect the more common split difference when parenting time is equal, and NH owes NH children the same protection.
