Most people in New Hampshire are not involved or informed because they are not active our democracy. The NH Community Rights Network has organized groups in a dozen towns to engage local citizens to pass ordinances to protect their rights and their environment. Every town and community needs to get organized in order to make elected officials accountable and control their local destinies!

The members of the Free State movement who have gotten themselves elected to our legislature are attacking citizens & town zoning regulation..decimating local control. They have and continue to act to destroy the nature and well-thought-out balance established to make our communities pleasant, and livable. They have taken away and are working to take away wetland protections, zoning structures and our development regulations to the detriment of our communities. When they recently passed a law to require only 1 parking space per apartment or condo unit. They are forcing on-street or on green space (lawn)parking...how many households have only 1 vehicle???. I am already seeing the impact of this at multi-family units with multiple vehicles.....we are beginning to look like a crowded city!
