End the Electoral College

The Electoral College is undemocratic by nature. The system is outdated, rooted in compromises over slavery, and allows candidates to win the presidency while losing the national popular vote. It violates the spirit of "one person, one vote", forcing campaigns to focus only on a few swing states, which suppresses voter turnout and fosters a sense that ‘my vote doesn’t matter unless I live in a swing state’. As of April 2026, every other state in New England - EXCEPT New Hampshire - has signed onto the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. It’s time!
