Right now there exist three threats that could cripple our region:
EMP
CME
Cyber threats
we need to harden our infrastructure against these threats. The first two are low probability high cost and the last one is medium probability high cost.

Not only should we harden it, but we need to stop frittering away valuable funds replacing perfectly good poles and redirect these funds to upgrade grid substation and other components to be able to receive and store surplus power from alternative sources of generation.
