Help elderly on fixed incomes

Help out people who are elderly on a fixed income by lowering the property taxes so someone on a fixed income is not pushed out of the area. You shouldn’t have to sell everything you own just so you can pay the taxes. It should only be based on income to receive the elderly exemption.

Why is it in the boomers are so intent on eating their cake and having it too? They’ve been reaping the benefits of little to no other taxes in the 47th lowest tax burden state in the country, while enjoying significant increases in home values.
They benefited greatly from a tax structure where their education was paid for by the taxpayers, they enjoy plowed and paved roads, and the benefits of a well educated workforce
Why should they dump even more of the bill on future generations?
