Lets go back to having standards (for everything), getting things done, and having aspirations

We've devolved to a society that is willing to argue about everything, while accomplishing nothing. Every hour only spends once. If you're arguing, you're not building or solving. New Hampshire needs to choose some things to be the best at: education..? environment..? taxing out of staters..? nuclear power..? healthcare..? and start moving in that direction. By not having any aspirations we just turn the state into mush. Are we better at any of the above than we used to be (10 years ago)? No. Pick something and rally the residents / voters / troops...
