Mandatory frequency that GALs speak with child

Typically, GALs (guardians ad litem) through CASA speak directly to the children on a regular basis: once a month. However, not all GALs are through CASA. Some are private GALs, in which case there is no requirement for how often they speak to the kids directly. In my situation, the GAL has only spoken to my child once in 3 years, despite my requests. I would love to see private GALs be mandated to speak directly to the child on a monthly basis: the same requirement that CASA GALs have.
