Multifaceted strategies are needed to make a meaningful dent in housing affordability

Communities need to partner on multiple strategies if housing is ever going to become more affordable and stable. These include zoning reform, stacked financing, land use code amendments that enable smaller scale, multifamily, mixed use, streamlined permitting, incentives, small development road maps, increased density, toolkits for potential developers, more public participation, etc.
