Out of Control School costs with no benefit to the students.

I have been a selectman in the past and have watched school cost(taxes) go higher and higher with out and control. The cost keeps going up and testing for the students keeps going down. I don't think anyone would care if costs were going up if the students would be getting a great education. At this point in order for taxes to go down we need to dissolve the current education process. It does not work. Even at this point consolidation of schools won't work. Online schools is the only way to go to insure proper education.

Something has to give. Parents are fed up with the poor accountability of school boards and superintendents in general. How is it that we pay a superintendent more than the President of the USA?

Online schools do not provide the peer interaction and socialization skills children need. More testing is also not an answer. The reasons for some children not doing as well in school are many and varied. Each school has to be evaluated on its own.
