Some thing has to be done to rain in education cost they are killing property taxes on people with fixed incomes and young families

It’s the state’s model that is causing the increased costs being pushed back to the towns. Those publicly funded private school tuitions don’t come for free. Meanwhile towns have to figure out how to fund their programs when the state keeps cutting their monies.
Local school budget requests are dealt with by local residents through voting. Too often the state leaves the towns in the lurch to try to pick up the pieces.
These state public education cuts in concert with a NH funded private school voucher program that has no transparency or accountability for either success or abuse metrics. Shameful.
