As a Supported Employment Specialist for over 12 years, there’s no greater barrier for individuals with and without disabilities who want to work than TRANSPORTATION. Employers need people….with the housing market limited and expensive, transportation is a luxury for many. The only transportation is so limited it only works for the elderly to go shopping. Schedules don’t work for employers and when they need people.

It’s not just the north country. Even in areas like the Upper Valley that have a bus system, its limited routes make it unworkable for most people. What do you do when you live a few miles out of town?
