Renewables really aren’t that ideal for us. The land use alone really disqualifies them from the “clean” designation. We already have a model for the cleanest generation source sitting in Seabrook. Plus given the capacity factor renewables are significantly more expensive and less efficient for us up here. It’s past time to expand our nuclear capacity rather than sink money into less clean energy sources like wind and solar.
