Rethinking Education

I think that we need to be having broader conversations about what kids growing up today will need to know to be successful citizens & members of the workforce. Getting a college degree & a good paying job is not how it works anymore. Teachers need more support, kids need more discipline, & we should be asking kids what they want to be learning and what they think the future might look like. High schoolers are old enough to engage with these questions about what they'd like to learn & what they think their future will look like. Funding isn't everything.
