Reinstate the interest and dividends tax and add a high-wealth tax ($100M+). Stop trying to run our government and school services without proper revenue. (Note state govt 1year+ hiring freeze!) The over reliance on property taxes and business taxes for public funding hurts our citizens and businesses alike! Invest in good public programs and infrastructure.

We need a progressive graduated income tax to make sure the wealthy are paying their fair share.

The hiring freeze is fine. More bureaucrats and higher payrolls are not needed now that we have AI.
